Russian court has extended the period of detention of a citizen of Ukraine, who was on board of the Arctic Sunrise ship among the representatives of the international environmental organization "Greenpeace" for three days.
This was stated by spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis.
"He (the citizen of Ukraine) is still in the status of the detainee ... He will remain in detention for another 72 hours," the diplomat said.
However, he said that the Russian courts will continue hearing the case on September 30.
