Negotiations with the Chinese government and financial institutions representatives touched upon the expansion of the agricultural sector funding, the port infrastructure development, as well as cooperation in the industrial sector (particularly in the aircraft and aerospace industries).

"We would like to increase the loan we raised last year from the Chinese side on the development of the agricultural sector. We intend to organize not only the growing of products, but also a high level of exports, the organization of the ports in our country - we will be able not only to grow but also to export. Today, we are not able to export all that we grow in the amounts in which we would like to," first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov told reporters, summing up preliminary results of his visit to China.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that Ukraine will be able to increase exports to this country to equalize the balance of bilateral trade between Ukraine and China.

"With the implementation of projects in key sectors for cooperation, Ukraine will improve the balance of trade with China, reducing it to zero. We need to organize the work so that imports from China do not exceed our exports to that country," the first vice PM said.

Arbuzov reminded that Ukraine and China have a long list of joint projects in many industries.

"Strategic directions are agriculture, aviation, space industry, science, culture, and medicine. Each of them was discussed," first vice Prime Minister added.
