Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov expects a record high grain harvest of 60 million tons this year, he said at a meeting of the government.
"According to preliminary estimates, Ukraine will harvest up to 60 million tonnes of grain, which will be a record," he said.
As he stressed, Ukraine has fully met its own demand for food grain.
According to him, the volume of agricultural production in Ukraine for eight months of this year rose by 13.3%, compared to the same period of last year.
