Arbuzov calls on Chinese business to invest in Ukraine economy

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov during a meeting with the heads of Chinese firms, banks and corporations urged them not to be limited to projects carried out with the provision of loans under state guarantee of Ukraine.

"I urge you to invest directly in the Ukrainian economy, what today is very beneficial for all," press service quoted First Vice Prime Minister.

Arbuzov promised that the government will create favorable conditions for Chinese corporations and capital in the Ukrainian market.

"A promising area of cooperation, in our opinion, can be a partner participation of Chinese companies in the industrial projects in electronics and communications, hotel industry, construction in major cities and resort areas, creation of international transport corridors," he said.

First Vice Prime Minister also stressed that large-scale financial and industrial cooperation has been launched and successfully implemented with the joint efforts of both countries: "It is primarily concern the infrastructure construction in Ukraine with the assistance of capital, technology and equipment from China".

"Equally important are the other projects, namely the construction of power plants, modernizing Ukrainian mines, co-production of cars in Ukraine, the construction of modern elevators, the development of the telecommunications sector," Arbuzov said.

During the talks with Chinese entrepreneurs official assured that the main common objective of the two governments is to create the most favorable conditions for close contacts between representatives of the business, which will raise cooperation to a qualitatively new level.

After the meeting, Ukrainian company "Greentek Energy" and China's CNBM signed the memorandum of cooperation in the presence of the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
