Foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara and foreign minister of the Republic of Fiji Ratu Kubuabola signed a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Fiji, ForUm learned from the Foreign Ministry press service.
The document was signed during a meeting within the framework of the visit of Kozhara to the United Nations headquarters to participate in the general political debate of the sixty-eighth session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
The foreign ministers of Ukraine and the Republic of Fiji also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic sphere and the beginning of the bilateral legal framework.
In addition, during the meeting the parties exchanged views on specific aspects of the interaction of delegations of Ukraine and Fiji to the United Nations.
