Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev believes that if Ukraine signs the Association Agreement with the European Union, the special partner mode between Kyiv and Moscow will be over.

"Let them sell their products to Europe, let them try to sell," he said.

Medvedev noted that if the Association Agreement is signed, then the leadership of this country "should not lie to people".

"Good and quality goods from Europe will come to the Ukrainian market and then to us. And we will use all opportunities that are available and that we should use within the WTO against the European and Ukrainian goods," he stressed.

Medvedev noted that the desire to join the European Union is a sovereign decision of Ukraine. At the same time, the Ukrainian government says that it will intend to strengthen relations with the Customs Union, if only it is not contrary to the Association Agreement, the Prime Minister said.

"Finally, they have said this openly but this means that Ukraine has no chances to develop relations with the Customs Union," he added.

"Do not deceive the people! You cannot sit on two chairs," he said.
