Russia does not put pressure on other countries, including Ukraine, in the issue of integration with the European Union and will respect any their decision, head of the Russian President’s Administration Sergei Ivanov told reporters, being on working visit to Stockholm, Sweden.

"We do not put pressure on any country in the choice of the future path of economic and political development. Saying this, you actually deny the national sovereignty of the country – be it Ukraine, Moldova or Armenia," Ivanov said.

According to him, the countries themselves, their parliaments are to decide which way of economic cooperation is better. "We will respect any decision of Ukraine, whatever it will be," the Kremlin representative said.
