Ukraine has made significant progress in implementation of the criteria required for the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union, representative of Ukraine to the EU Kostiantyn Yeliseyev said in an interview with "Kommersant Ukraine".
"If we compare the current situation with the one that was a couple of months ago and even more with December of last year, the difference is huge. There are positive trends, and we are making progress on the criteria defined in the conclusions of the European Council on December 10, 2012," he said.
According to Yeliseyev, the EU says that Ukraine must make significant progress, but does not require one hundred percent of the criteria implementation. "Europe understands that fundamental reforms mentioned in the December conclusions of the European Council can not be realized in such a short period. I can responsibly say that the Ukrainian party has achieved progress on all 11 criteria of the so-called list of Fule, and as of today we have very good chances to sign the agreement," he said.
