All-Ukrainian population census has been postponed from 2013 until 2016. This is stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers № 699 dated September 4, 2013.
The second All-Ukrainian population census was scheduled for 2011, but in 2010 the government postponed its holding until 2012, and in 2012 – until 2013.
Previous census was conducted in Ukraine in 2001. Then the population size made up 48.5 million.
