In 2013, 3.5 billion UAH will be spent on preparation for the heating season, head of the municipal power system department of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Olena Malezhyk announced today, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This year, 3.5 billion UAH will be allocated for preparation for the heating season from the local budgets and means of enterprises," she noted.
According to Malezhyk, this amount includes the cost of housing fund - 960 million UAH, heat supply facilities - more than one billion UAH, water and sanitation sector - 445 million UAH and road and bridge services - 960 million UAH. In total, according to the official, 3.2 billion UAH have been already allocated.
