Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev expressed hope that the European Parliament will agree to provide the provisional application of the Association Agreement, including a deep and comprehensive free trade area after its signing, he said during his working visit to Brussels on September 18, ForUm learned from the press service of the National Security Council.

During the visit Klyuyev met with President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, members of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Ukraine headed by Pavlo Koval, MEPs of the political group "Progressive alliance of socialists and democrats," as well as with chairman of this political group Hannes Swoboda.

With the approach of the Vilnius summit of "Eastern Partnership", a key focus during the visit was paid to the Ukraine's progress in implementation of the criteria for signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
