Ukraine can liberalize 95% of the volume of bilateral trade due to the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening the government’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"According to the agreements reached with the European Union, the liberalization of trade covers more than 97% of tariff lines or more than 95% of the volume of bilateral trade. In addition, the abolition of import duties on the Ukrainian goods will occur in the first year after agreement signing," Azarov said.

At the same time, he said that the average rate of duties in Ukraine will decrease twice for the goods from the EU from 4.95% to 2.42%, while the average EU rate of fees for Ukrainian goods will decrease by 15 times from 7.6% to 0.5%.
