Supreme Administrative Court finds foreign passport fees legal

The Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine found fees for international passports legal.

According to the press service of the State Migration Service, on September 17, the Supreme Administrative Court took decision that fully satisfied the appeal of the Office of the State Migration Service in Zaporizhzhya region and canceled the decision of the Appeal Administrative Court of Dnipropetrovsk on the suit of a resident of Zaporizhzhya region concerning the fees for services of registration and issuance of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad and upheld the trial court's decision that applicant was denied to satisfy his claim.

The main requirement of the plaintiff was the issuance passport of foreign passport worth 170 UAH (state tax), whereas the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers provide for the payment, except for state duty, the cost of public services and the cost of passport form.
