About 22 million UAH are needed to conduct by-elections in the five troubled constituencies, deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission Andriy Mahera told a press briefing.
"As for the cost of holding elections in five constituencies, we are talking about the sum of approximately 22 million UAH. Perhaps, this amount will be slightly refined, but so far we are talking about this sum," Mahera said, noting that the relevant bill has been already submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
"I hope that all parliamentary factions will vote for this bill as elections in five constituencies are impossible without it," he said.
