Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak returned the draft state budget for 2014 to the Cabinet of Ministers, he said during the Conciliatory Council of chairmen of parliamentary committees and factions, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to Rybak, the government appealed to him with a letter to complete the draft state budget.
"On one hand, we have a number of laws that we have to adopt in order to create a revenue side of the budget. There is also a lot of letters from people's deputies, who demand to increase the budget spending due to their obligations to voters," the chairman of of the Verkhovna Rada said.
He stressed that the Cabinet will finalize the draft budget for 2014 this week, and it will report on implementation of the budget-2013 and on principles of the budget for 2014 during the Hour of questions to the government on Friday.
