Ukraine and the Netherlands have agreed to hold a joint business forum with companies operating in the agricultural sector, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told reporters during his working visit to The Hague on Friday after a meeting with representatives of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers.
"It should be noted that a whole number of initiatives that were discussed today have found mutual support. First and foremost, the issue concerns the holding of a joint business forum in Kyiv with the participation of leading Dutch agricultural companies and companies representing our agriculture," he said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Azarov also noted the importance of developing bilateral ties, as well as expanding opportunities for the participation of Dutch companies in Ukraine and Ukrainian companies in the Netherlands.
He said that the business forum would help outline concrete proposals and offer concrete projects for the development of different areas in the agricultural sector.
Azarov also said that it was important to cooperate in the sphere of training experts.
"The Netherlands has a good scientific and educational base, and representatives of the Netherlands offered us such cooperation. We agreed with these proposals," he said.
