There is no financial war between Ukraine and Russia, and talks about collapse of the hryvnia exchange rate are just tricks of speculators, President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Oleksandr Okhrymenko told a round table "Russian-Ukrainian trade war: Has Russia opened the financial front?", ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, our Ukrainian analysts and representatives of the currency speculators intentionally hype up the situation in Ukraine.

"I think the situation that we observe now is a classic romp of the currency speculators seeking to sell currency more expensive to the population," Okhrymenko stressed.

He noted that today there is a shadow foreign exchange market estimated by experts at 87 billion dollars.
