Ukraine has completed the first stage of construction of the Dniester pumped storage plan (PSP), energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky told a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the government is "aimed at the installation and commissioning of equipment of the second hydraulic unit, the completion of a residential building and the implementation of a number of commitments to local residents for the development of the regions."
"The launch of the second unit of the Dniester PSP is a strategic task for the domestic energy industry. The start of launch operations is scheduled for December 19 of this year," he said.
