The Cabinet of Ministers will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill depriving employees of the Interior Ministry of the right to draw up reports on violations of the trade rules, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"When forming the state program to enhance the economy for 2013-2014, we set the goal to develop amendments to the legislation, which deprive the police of the right to draw up protocols on violations of the trade rules at the markets. Today, we are planning to approve these changes and submit to the Parliament," Azarov said.

According to him, the police must prevent crimes and protect public order.
