The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine does not confirm detention of former rector of the National University of State Tax Service Petro Melnyk in the United States, the Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"No information about detention of the citizen was sent to our embassy or consulates," he said.
According to him, the Foreign Ministry does not have the necessary tools to confirm the information on the presence of a citizen in a particular country.
