The Social Policy Ministry of Ukraine plans to allow fathers of newborn children arranging sick leave, social policy minister Natalia Korolevska said during the roundtable, ForUm correspondent reports.
She said that according to the initiatives developed by the Ministry, fathers will be able to get the right to sick leave to help their wives in the first weeks after childbirth.
"In some countries, such sick leaves for fathers are obligatory. We want to offer such opportunity for them," the minister said.
