Rybak: Rada to adopt the rest of "EU laws" in early October
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak said that the Parliament will adopt the rest of bills necessary for the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union at the beginning of October, he said in an interview with First National TV channel on Monday, the press service of the Parliament reports.

Rybak expressed confidence that Ukraine will fulfill its obligations related to the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union before the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius in November.

Reporting on the meeting with the leadership of the Republic of Lithuania and the representatives of the European Union, which he held during a working visit to Lithuania last Friday, the speaker of Parliament stressed that "Europe appreciated the work of Ukraine, which was done over the past two months for the Agreement signing, in particular, on adaptation of the Ukrainian legislation to the EU standards."

However, he said that it is still necessary to adopt the law on prosecutor's office, which has been developed and now is passing the expert assessment in the Venice Commission, then - the laws on police and independent bureau of investigation.

The head of the Parliament recalled that the President personally headed the preparations for the signing of the Agreement, not denying the need to continue cooperation with Russia.
