Russian embassy in Vilnius regards the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania about the pressure of Moscow on Kyiv in the issue of European integration as an attempt to interfere with developing of integration processes within Eurasian space.
"We regard the comments of foreign minister of Lithuania as an attempt to put pressure on Ukraine, on the one hand, and as an attempt to affect the bilateral Russian-Ukrainian relations, the desire to prevent progressively developing integration processes in Eurasia - on the other," comments of the Russian embassy in Vilnius says.
"There is no necessity to warn Russia about anything. It is necessary to maintain a respectful and equal dialogue, which is the basis for a constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation," a statement says.
The report notes that "the Russian side, not less than Lithuania, respects the choice of the Ukrainian people on any issue, including on issues of integration".
