Ukraine’s Parliament passed in the first reading the European integration bill on amendments to certain laws relating to execution of court decisions.

As ForUm correspondent reports, 340 MPs voted for the relevant decision (PR – 192 votes, Batkivshchyna – 61votes, UDAR – 34 votes, Svoboda - 34 votes, individual MPs – 21votes, CPU - 0).

According to speaker on the subject, justice minister Olena Lucash, the bill’s goal is to ensure full implementation of the obligations of the State of Ukraine under pilot judgment of the European Court in "Yuri Ivanov vs. Ukraine" case, as well as to ensure the implementation of the law on the execution of judgments.

Parliament’s speaker Volodymyr Rybak instructed the relevant committee to prepare the bill for the second reading on an abbreviated procedure.
