Ukraine and Malta have signed an intergovernmental convention on avoidance of double taxation, ForUm correspondent reports.
After signing of the document, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat expressed confidence in the intensification of bilateral cooperation.
"The bilateral negotiations between Ukraine and Malta were held in a warm atmosphere. I am quite pleased with the results. During our dialogue with the Prime Minister of Malta, we outlined specific steps to enhance the dialogue and agreed to establish an intergovernmental group. The Prime Minister of Malta offered to create a center of aviation and technical support of Malta," Azarov said.
