
The Ukrainian government will do everything necessary for the constructive work of the Verkhovna Rada of new convocation and signing of the Association Agreement with the EU, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The head of state with his performance in the Verkhovna Rada clearly defined the tasks of the government in cooperation with the legislative body. On behalf of the government, I declare that we will do everything necessary for the constructive and effective legislative work," Azarov said.
That is why, according to him, each member of the government should increase the demands for those bills that are prepared for Parliament’s consideration and "to devote more time to personal work with parliamentarians, work in committees and factions of the Verkhovna Rada."
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is open for cooperation with the Parliament concerning stable social and economic development of the country. Fruitful cooperation among the President, the Parliament and the government is the key to sustainable economic development," the Prime Minister said.
"All political forces that make up the majority in Parliament declared their readiness to implement the plan on preparation for signing of the Association Agreement. It is their historical responsibility," Azarov added.
