In Ukraine, 5% of entrepreneurs, wishing to register their business, have used the electronic service of the State Registration Service, chairman of the State Registration Service of Ukraine Dmytro Vorona told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The number of people, who took advantage of online registration, is not as large as we would like to see. In big cities, it's about 10% of the applications, throughout the country - 5%. However, such rate is also reasoned by the fact that not all Ukrainians are aware of this possibility. We offer entrepreneurs not to stand in lines, but use the Internet. Moreover, that is the main instrument of corruption prevention," he noted.
According to him, 6498 Ukrainians have already used the electronic service. "You can get expert advice by phone or Skype. Since the service launch, 2.432 consultations via Skype and almost 7.5 million by phone have been given. In addition, we soon plan to launch new SMS notifications of public registrations. It refers to state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs," Vorona said.
He also noted that since January 2014, statements, excerpts and information from the Unified State Register can be sent and received in electronic form.
