Ukraine increases grain exports by 16%

In 2013, Ukraine has exported grain by 16% more than last year, agricultural policy and food minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We have exported 3.8 million tons, including 1.4 million tons of wheat and 1.4 million tons of barley. This is by 16% more than last year," Prysiazhniuk said.

He also noted that the overall potential opportunity of Ukraine on grain export exceeded 30 million tons.
