Foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara and his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov agreed to hold consultations on the fate of Ukrainian fisherman Oleksandr Fedorovych, against whom a criminal case was initiated in connection with the incident in the Sea of Azov. This was discussed during their telephone conversation today, the Foreign Ministry press office reports.

"It was decided to hold appropriate consultations in the territory of the Russian Federation in the near future," the report says.

During the conversation, the ministers discussed issues of Ukrainian-Russian relations, including the state of preparation for the next meeting of the international cooperation subcommittee of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission.
