Leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov believes that neither the EU nor the Customs Union will bring stability for Ukraine unless there is a radical modernization of the state.
The leader of the Party of Regions faction also called on MPs to put the interests of the state above personal ambitions. "The interests of the people, not political ambitions, should become the main argument in the work of Parliament," he said, speaking from the parliamentary rostrum, ForUm correspondent reports.
He noted that in the first year half the power prevented a collapse of economic indicators, in fact, they were the best for the last three years. "There are reasons to expect that the economic performance in the second year half will be better," he said.
