The Verkhovna Rada plays a crucial role in the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union, Parliament’s speaker Volodymyr Rybak said, speaking in the Parliament on the occasion of opening of the third session of the Verkhovna Rada of VII convocation, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the history of independent Ukraine in the wider European context will be determined in Vilnius at the Eastern Partnership summit.
He urged MPs to show political maturity, statist thinking and responsibility for the state.
