Yanukovych: Government and opposition should forget feuds

President Viktor Yanukovych urged the government and the opposition to join forces for the sake of European integration and to work for the benefit of Ukraine, he said, speaking in the Parliament on the occasion of opening of the third session of the Verkhovna Rada of VII convocation, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The political elite of the country should forget about the party colors and recall the colors of the national flag, to forget about the party feuds and recall that we are all citizens of Ukraine, a part of the great nation," the President said.

At the same time, he stressed the need to adopt a package of laws on the European integration, which will allow Ukraine to become a European state.
