Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych approved the military-administrative division of the state. The relative decree of September 2 was posted on the President's website.
The Cabinet of Ministers is to ensure record of the approved division when planning state defense measures and mobilization trainings, addressing issues of mobilization and territorial defense of Ukraine.
This decree will enter into force on the day of its publication, except for the section "The airspace of Ukraine", which comes into force on January 1, 2014.
