Approaching date of presidential elections in Ukraine will affect the work of the third session of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation, speaker Volodymyr Rybak told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The work of the Parliament can not be relaxed, as presidential election in Ukraine has approached for other six months, and whether we like it or not, that's life. The coming election will impact the Parliament’s work. When we considered whom to invite to the Hour of questions to the government, opposition factions voiced different opinions. Therefore, the candidates for President are going to criticize each other. Then they’ll unite together and will criticize the government, but then again they will criticize each other," he assumed.
At the same time, according to Rybak, the MPs will work more professionally. "Compared with the first and second sessions, they have grown up. The Parliament is really getting closer to Europe," Rybak summed up.
