Vadym Titushko, Serhiy Prykhodko and Mykhailo Pshuk, accused of beating up journalists on May 18 in the city center, were put on probation. The relevant decision was pronounced by Shevchenkivsky district court of Kyiv on Monday.
The Court approved the terms of the reconciliation agreement signed between the accused and the victims and sentenced Titushko to 3 years of imprisonment. Pshuk and Prykhodko were sentenced to two years of imprisonment.
In addition, in accordance with the agreement, offenders must repair financial damage to journalist of "5 channel" Olga Snitsarchuk in the amount of 707 UAH, to photographer Vladyslav Sodel - 1613 UAH.
In addition, Titushko is to pay financial damages to journalists in amount of 11 thousand UAH to each, and Pshuk and Prikhodko - 4 thousand each.
