State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection rejected about 20 thousand units of school goods, head of the consumer protection department of the Inspectorate Anton Klatsky said today, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, about 300 inspections have been already conducted in Ukraine, during which about 20 thousand units of school goods have been rejected. "About 40% of tested products did not meet the requirements of regulations on quality and safety, labeling was broken. In Kyiv, this figure is slightly less - 30%," he said.
As the official said, most of the violations were found in the segment of school uniforms, a small amount - among stationery. Data on the presence of harmful substances in the bleaching of paper products are now separately verified.
