The Association Agreement with the EU will allow Ukraine to attract three times more foreign direct investment than it is now. This opinion was expressed in exclusive comments to BTB TV channel by economic expert at the International Centre for Policy Studies Ildar Gazizullin.
He noted that foreign investors invest in the economy of our country nearly four billion dollars a year, and expressed confidence that the association with the EU will help to modernize the national production, improve the investment climate and accelerate reforms. "Therefore, foreign businessmen will be willing to pay attention to the promising Ukrainian market," the expert said.
"This is a very important signal for investors, who will invest in Ukrainian production, in the new companies, then we will be able to strengthen our presence in the European market. It will strengthen our ties - industrial, financial links with European companies, and this will allow us to feel better on their markets," the expert added.
