Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov stated that Ukraine is ready to join certain provisions of the Customs Union, he said, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We need to develop the best ways of interaction. We are ready to join separate provisions of the Customs Union," Azarov said and instructed representative of Ukraine in the Eurasian Economic Commission for Europe Viktor Suslov together with representatives of the Russian side to develop an action plan and submit it for the Cabinet’s consideration.

At the same time, Azarov also instructed the Economic Development and Trade Ministry to develop practical algorithms for cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union and then with the Eurasian Union under conditions of the agreement on free trade area with the European Union.

According to Azarov, Ukraine is interested in increasing the volume of goods production relations with Russia and the Customs Union.

He noted that this issue should be guided by the WTO principles in order to find the optimal consensus decision.
