The Ukrainian government replaced the supervisory board of National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy under a resolution dated August 1, 2013.

Deputy energy and coal industry minister Andriy Bondarenko was named chairman of the board, replacing Volodymyr Makukha.

The other appointees to the board are Oleksandr Atroschenko, a department head at the Economic Development and Trade Ministry; deputy regional development, construction and housing and utilities minister Andriy Bilousov; deputy income and tax minister Andriy Ihnatov; Energy and Coal Industry Ministry legal department head Oleh Myrhorodsky; Economic Development and Trade Ministry legal department head Oleksiy Perevezentsev; deputy ecology and natural resources minister Oleksandr Sushko and Justice Ministry department head Olena Ferens, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

Eleven other members lost their seats: Volodymyr Makukha, Kostiantyn Borodin, Maryna Haidai, Inna Yemelianova, Roman Zhukovsky, Serhiy Zymin, Viktor Maiko, Oleh Matveyev, Serhiy Savchuk, Oleksandr Sukhomlyn and Oleh Terletsky.
