The volume of wage arrears in Ukraine decreased in July of 2013 compared to June by 4.2 million UAH (0.4%), and as of July 1, it totaled 985.4 million UAH, the State Statistics Service reported.
Thus, the debt of economically active enterprises amounts to 53.5% of the total volume of debt, the debt of bankrupt companies - 41.3%.
The largest amount of debt was recorded in Donetsk (157.3 million UAH) and Kyiv (152.1 million UAH) regions, the lowest - in Chernivtsi region (110 thousand UAH).
