Head of the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, chief state sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko is dissatisfied with the progress of the return of products of the Roshen Ukrainian confectionery factory to the Russian market and predicts that it could be seriously delayed.
"Over the past week, we did not receive any proposals from Ukraine within our arrangements relating to the mechanism for returning products. Yesterday, the Ukrainian party presented a multipage folio in English, which has nothing to do with the format of the arrangements," Onishchenko said on Saturday.
According to him, Ukrainian party passed this document through the Economic Development Ministry.
"This gives me reason to believe that the Ukrainian party perceives this technical issue as a political act, and acts in this logic," he said.
"With such a development and evaluation of events, it seems to me that our progress on this issue prolongs for a few years into the future," Onishchenko said.
