Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov notes that the goal of Ukraine is strong European democracy. He said this while congratulating employees of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 22nd anniversary of Independence of Ukraine, Cabinet’s press office reports.
He said that our state has passed a difficult way of development. "We now have the goal - a strong European democratic state, which elevates, decently protects and ensures the rights and freedoms of its citizens," Azarov said.
Prime Minister stressed that the independence of any country is an opportunity to take substantial political and economic decisions to improve the quality of lives of its citizens. "If the political forces of the society, the President, the Parliament, the government follow this line - hence, the country will develop. That is why the President and the government are doing everything possible to have such independence and work for the good of the country," PM added.
