308 thousand citizens are expected to participate in celebration of the national holidays - the National Flag Day and the 22th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, Interior Ministry press office reports.
According to preliminary data, 23-24 August 2013 more than 860 events to celebrate the holidays are planned. Celebrations will be held in 514 settlements in all regions of the state.
The Interior Ministry territorial departments will monitor the situation in the state round the clock.
More than ten thousand officers will secure law and order in the state.
