The situation on passing freight trains from Ukraine through Russian- Ukrainian border station Bryansk-Lgovski has been settled, vice president of Russian Railway company Vadim Morozov told journalists on Thursday in Petersburg.

"In Bryansk everything is fine. In Valuyki (the Belgorod region), though, there are some trains standing suspended, but we will settle the problem very soon," Morozov, said, "Interfax-Ukraine" reports.

He reminded that after the negotiations at the governmental level, "the things have come on the run", and that Russian Railways has worked closely with the Federal Customs Service "to reduce losses".

As a reminder, on August 14 Russian Customs strengthened control over freights coming from Ukraine, in the result of which many trains congested the border stations Bryansk-Lgovski and Valuyski
