Minister of energy and coal industry Eduard Stavitski expects that in VI quarter of 2013 Odessa oil refinery will start running at full capacity, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I expect the plant to work at full capacity in the IV quarter of this year. The request for oil pumping for this period has already been submitted," the minister told a briefing and added that oil would be delivered by tankers already in September.

Moreover, he pointed out that if Lisichansk oil refinery does not run, Ukraine may exercise the right to revise the contract for purchase of the enterprise by Russian company "Rosneft".

"The state may revise the contract regarding privatization processes, because according to the contract the enterprises must have work and people - jobs. However, these are last resource measures we will take," Stavytsky summed up.

As known, Odessa oil refinery has been standing idle since 2010.
