Ukrainian national team became the absolute leader in the World Swimming Championship of athletes with lesions of the musculoskeletal system and the sight impairments, which was held in Montreal.
Ukrainian athletes won 84 awards, including 33 gold, 22 silver and 29 bronze medals.
Among the 60 participating countries, Ukraine was the undisputed leader during all competition days.
The second place in the overall standings won the Russian national team, having 30 medals less than our athletes. Russians have 19 gold medals, 22 silver and 13 bronze. Third position is occupied by the United Kingdom.
