In the near future Ukraine will prepare a clear action plan, the implementation of which would solve the problem of the import of domestic goods to the Russian Federation. This was stated by economic development and trade minister of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov at a press briefing on Friday.
"The Prime Minister has set the task to develop a clear action plan to the resolve the issues emerged at the customs border between Russia and Ukraine,” Prasolov said
In general, he stressed that the government will do everything possible to ensure that the situation with the export of domestic products will be resolved as soon as possible in a civilized manner within the law.
"I have not heard anything from Russia about trade war. We talk about the specific issues, which we must address," Prasolov said.
He added that the Economic Development Ministry is working closely with the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU), monitors and analyzes all requests from domestic producers.
