The working group on evaluation of problematic issues of Ukrainian-Russian trade and economic cooperation started to work. The first results of its work can be expected in the near future, vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boiko informs.

"The corresponding instructions are given. A working group is formed. August 16, in Russia we held talks with first vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov and head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Andrei Belyaninov. It was agreed that the managers of the customs services of Ukraine and Russia will meet on August 19, to discuss all the points, which impede the normal trade and economic relations between our countries," Boiko said.

According to him, there was also agreed that most of the questions regarding the rail crossing of Ukrainian goods to the territory of the Russian Federation will be resolved in the near future.

Boiko also noted that the issue with the customs clearance of goods crossing the Ukrainian-Russian border is extremely important.

According to him, the meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov was held on Saturday, at which the preliminary results of the talks in Russia on customs clearance of goods crossing the Ukrainian-Russian border were discussed.
