Israel is willing to invest in high-tech projects for the development of agriculture, infrastructure and water treatment in Ukraine, deputy interior minister of Israel Faina Kirshenbaum told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

She noted that the Israeli delegation plans to discuss the issue with representatives of the Ukrainian government during three-day visit.

Kirshenbaum also informed that Israel provides investors with government guarantees and has already stipulated the necessary funds in the state budget. "Israeli businessmen are interested in investing in Ukraine. Israel established a state guarantee for this type of cooperation. We expect the same on the part of Ukraine," the deputy minister said.

In addition, pensions’ payments in Ukraine and Israel will be discussed during the visit. "Half a million Israelis worked in Ukraine for many years. There are also some people who returned from Israel to Ukraine. It is a matter of the two sides, it passed all the stages, is supported by the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Israel. We hope that the agreement will be signed by both countries by the end of the year," Kirschenbaum said.
