Bloodhound Gang band’s bass guitarist Jared “Evil” Hasselhoff has apologized to the Ukrainian nation and the country’s government for an incident with the Ukrainian flag, after which the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) banned him from entering Ukraine for five years, Interfax reports.
“In most countries where we have concerts we hang flags on the stage. This was the concatenation of circumstances that the flag was there when we performed. I don’t understand why Ukrainians are offended by ketchup I sprayed before the flag. However, if it is offended them, I apologize to Ukrainian people, the country and the government,” Hasselhoff said in an interview with the Ranok z Ukrainoiu morning show on the Ukraina TV channel, reads a posting on the channel’s Web site.
